Access notes
Fly to Calgary or Edmonton then take a long drive to Jasper. The trailhead start is at Mt Edith Cavell. A 4 hours and somewhat unpleasant hike with little elevation gain. If planning to visit consider staying at the Alpine Club of Canada's Waites-Gibson hut for several days to make the most of the journey. The mosquito situation during the summer is, at times, unbearable. There are large populations of grizzly bears and moose, etc so be cautious on trails.
