Gravestones/ Hidden Wall/ Yr Ochr Wen/ Twll Tin Gwynedd, WALES
Climbs 50 – Rocktype Rhyolite – Altitude 400m a.s.l – Faces NW
A scrappy collection of crags, close together to walk between, most easily dealt with together rather than apart. Single- and multi-pitch routes up to 280ft. Worthwhile for Rambo (E1 5b) and Rembrandt's Pussy Horse (E2 5c) but the best are at E5 and above. Worth a visit for those at any grade seeking something different, away from the usual tick-list.
Llanberis (2009), North Wales Rock (2006), The Slate Wiki,
Out of print: Llanberis (2003), Llanberis Pass (1994)
Climbs at this crag
From Cwm Glas cottage continue along the path to the second small ruined area. The track now fades to open hillside. On the L is a small rectangular crag (good picnic area). To the R is a stone wall leading to the base of a short wall. Behind is a tower - The Gravestones.
