the south east face of clyde minaret provides classic big mountain granite rock climbing in a very beautiful lake dotted area of the High sierra in California. The SE face route is 5.8 with a direct at 5.9+

Access notes
Probably best approached via Mammoth Lakes (ski resort, summer mountain bike resort, motels, cafes, gear shops etc). You will need to get a camping permit there and bus into Reds Meadow.
