Buses run up and down the road near the Egg, or a chartered minibus can be taken to within five mins walk. However, it's not far to cycle to, and bike hire in Yangshuo is cheap and a great way to get around.

There is now a new dual carriageway that splits from the road shown in the map just after the Yu Long river bridge (going away from Yangshuo.) Turn right onto a track like road through the village, and follow the road (this is the road shown on the map) after about 1/3 mile the road crosses the dual carriageway, carry straight on, the road improves and the crag is on the right after about 1 mile.

Alternatively, stay on the dual carriageway after the Yu Long river bridge, and turn left onto the Puyi road. However, there are no road signs so be careful not to miss the turning.

The approach is made though some rice fields, which there are plenty of paths across.
