Steep and smooth, with a tendency to seep. Offers single- and multi-pitch routes up to 400ft - many of the harder ones earn many stars. Recommended for Vertigo (HVS 5a**), Glwm (E2 5b*), Central Wall (E3 5c***), Tramgo (E4), Heading For Heights (E5 6b***).

Access notes
Normal approach is to take the forestry track above Llyn Cwellyn - starting at Planwydd (SH 568 539). There previously wasn't but now is parking at the end of this road. Alternatively, park at Rhyd Ddu, or the NE shore of Llyn Cwellyn.
