Jackson Tor Derbyshire, ENGLAND
Climbs 35 – Rocktype Grit (quarried) – Altitude 200m a.s.l – Faces SW
Previously known as Matlock Bank Quarry. Below a grassed recreation area at the end of Cavendish Road in Matlock. Extensive gardening has re-instated routes and uncovered bouldering. Lies in a shallow south-facing hollow making it a good winter venue.
Council owned. No problems but do not use the hillside to the left to access other crags in the Upper Matlock Quarries.
Peak Bouldering (2014), Peak District: Bouldering (2011), Peak Climbs - Chatsworth (1996),
Out of print: Rock climbs in the Peak - Derwent valley (1981)

It's starting to become a bit run down with the less popular climbs becoming overgrown with brambles and litter and broken glass below the popular climbs. It could do with a bit of a clean up.|

There's a lot of scope to develop some low grade bouldering to the left of the tor, just needs some gardening and some time. Could be a circuit to keep the locals fresh!
