Sintra is normally cool, and possibly too cold to climb in the winter.

Access notes
Sintra is 35Km from Lisbon, and about 30 mins by bus from Cascais.

Finding the crag was difficult - unless you know how! the park gates lose at 6pm, but local climbers climb after this.

Park on the Estrada da Pena, use the topo at http://www.gmesintra.com/topos/imagens/sintra/sintra.pdf (much better than the one listed above). Climbing is exposed granite route, relying lots on pure friction. Great views!
