Access notes
Take the ferry boat 10 rupees inclusive of bouldering mat acrooss the Tungabhadra river from Hampi, 2 minute crossing, starting at around 8am in the monsoon months, with last boat at 6pm. Walk up to the mainpath from the landing site, turn left and walk parallel to the padi fields. As the road bends to the right, take the dirt track up to 'Begum's restaurant' (just ask) where you can buy topo (70 rupees) and hire reasonable quality pads (50 rupees a day). The climbing at Sector A is overlooked from here.
