Approach from large path opposite Beckwithshaw cricket club. 15 mins walk to the crag
Access Advice
The main crag is on private land and the landowner isn't keen on people climbing on it. However there is another smaller buttress (located to right of main path) ideal for an hours bouldering on good quality grit. It would appear this area is OK to climb on
| Went up to check this out this evening, and it's a bust. Farmer is not happy having anyone veering off the path, let alone climbing on his rocks. No bad words had but I won't be going back.
Shame, as there is some potential there for a nice little crag. That said, there's plenty of legit grit around nearby. brynbobaggins - 20/Jun/11 |
