Crag features

A relatively minor crag, which contains some worthwile mid grade sport routes on good rock.

The walls get the morning sun and go into the shade from around 1pm in Summer. The routes take little seepage and dry quickly.

A new access agreement is in place 2023 and rebolting is taking place with support from the Peak Bolt Fund.

If you climb the routes here please make a donation to the bolt fund.

Approach notes

Situated in the car park of the Lime Kiln Pub which is on the northern side of the village of Wirksworth at the junction between the B5036 and the B5023.

No Access Issues

Although there are no reported access problems the crag is very close to the Lime Kiln Pub so disturbance should be kept to a minimum. Have a pint in the pub afterwards to maintain goodwill with the landlord.
