Barry Clarke on Red Flags in the Sunset © henry castle

Crag features

Apparently the best low garde crag in Pembroke. Routes of 15-30m approached by abseil. The crag is tidal but how tidal differs between the routes.

Approach notes

On Range West so all the normal Range West stuff applies (see BMC access notes).

Access Advice

The crag is in Range West, an Army live-firing range. Briefed climbers (with a valid permit) can access the crag year round when the range is not firing (all weekends &  Bank Holidays plus occasional week days). Briefings now last from date of briefing to following Easter.  Night firing normally occurs on Tuesday & Thursday but may also alternate to Monday & Wednesday.
