Crag features
These crags, which consist of two main buttresses, lie overlooking the JCB test track on a wooded hillside 2 miles along the lane running from Farley to Ellastone. The old Wootton Lodge gates, which the crags lie beyond, have now become overgrown. They are invisible. Security guards patrol the site and you will be turned away.
Access Banned
This crag lies within the grounds of J.C Bamford's Wootton Lodge Estate. They have refused to allow or discuss access, stating health and safety concerns arising from use of the test track below the crag. Security guards are employed and have escorted climbers from the crag.
