Montenvers Haute Savoie, FRANCE
Climbs 29 – Rocktype Granite – Altitude 1800m a.s.l – Faces E
Amazing granite slabs above the Mer de Glace, overlooking the Drus and the Grands Jorasses, form a grandiose setting for this beautiful crag. All the routes seem to be well bolted and are up to 70m high. A 60m metre rope at least is essential.
Access from the Grotte de la Mer de Glace, below the Montenvers mountain railway station.
