Craig a Ghlastail Highland, SCOTLAND
Climbs 4 – Rocktype Schist – Altitude 450m a.s.l – Faces SE
Crag features
***** Please avoid climbing on this crag as birds nesting. check MCofS for further information. Feb2013 Lone Rider
A vegetated crag with limited rock climbing (one route so far) but fine ice climbs following watercourses and gullies. Despite the SE aspect, a weeks hard frost often allows the ice to form. Not good under powder but best when lean with a little snow. Ghlastail GTX is an classic given a half decent winter and Waterfall Gully deserves more ascents.
