Catstye Cam (Catstycam) Cumbria, ENGLAND
Climbs 2 – Rocktype UNKNOWN – Altitude 890m a.s.l – Faces NE
Crag features
North/North east aspect make this a good scramble/winter route crag. Plenty of spike and threads to be found if gear is required and a few useful cracks that take some wires can be found on the Northern most ridge.
North flank contains the pleasant Catstye Cam Gully which makes a fine way to the summit. There are possible variations on this route and can be used as a means of ski descent for the truly brave!
A good link up for Helvellyn/Swirral edge combo to make a pleasing day out.
