The Acme Hire Plywood Masters 2005

On 2 and 3 April, Boulder UK hosted the 3rd Plywood Masters competition. 70 competitors took part in Mens, Womens, Junior Girls, Junior Boys and Veterans categories for cash prizes
Men and Women competed on Saturday and with the World Number 1, Mark Croxall, in town, and fellow British Team members, Gaz Parry and Ben West competing, the final was always going to be a tough one. After qualifying in 1st place, Ben slipped into a credible 2nd ahead of Mark, allowing local boy, Gaz his first ever win at his own venue. The Women's final was a battle between the two Katherine's; Mills and Schirrmacher. Both women managed all the problems with Schirrmacher used less attempts and hence was the champion.
In the Juniors category Leah Crane and Tyler Landman took the honours for the Girls and Boys respectively. In the Vets, northern raider Martin Waugh won the 45 and above category, with Jo Gooney taking the 35 to 44 title.
