The bolts on the route Monster Munch 8b at Carn Vellan have been replaced. The route was originally bolted and climbed by Mark Edwards in the early 90s. After some controversy at the time, local meetings were held and vote taken leading to the decision to chop the bolts. This was done and the route has remained untouched until April this year. Now the badly-smashed resin bolts have been replaced with expansion bolts in an effort to start the debate once more.
