Rodden Solves Sphinx Crack (5.13c)

Super-talented American climber, Beth Rodden has climbed one of the US's hardest cracks with an ascent of the 5.13c splitter 'Sphinx Crack' in Colorado. It took her 4 days to redpoint the single pitch route on pre-placed gear.

Sphinx Crack was created when the rock was blown up by Colorado School of Mines, back in the '70s. It was famously flashed by arguably the world's best crack climber, Hirayama Yuji in 1996.
