Bouldering News: Landman, Earl, Hocking, Chapman

Tyler Landman has repeated Dreamtime at Cresciano, Switzerland. This was first climbed by Fred Nicole in 2000 and was the first boulder problem to get the grade of V15/Font 8c. Since then it has been reported as having holds improved. Landman thought Font V14/8b+ to be more on the mark. Landman has quite a resumé (he is moving to the USA!) of hard bouldering ascents including the Ace V13/Font 8b at the Stanage Plantation, the Mandala Font V12/Font 8a+ in Bishop, California and Nuthin But Sunshine Font V13/14..Font8b/+ at Rocky Mountain State Park in Colorado.

In the UK Andy Earl made the third ascent of Ben Moon's Cypher V13/Font 8b at Slipstones in North Yorkshire.

In the Lakes Adam Hocking added a left-hand finish to Grand Opera on the Bowderstone and has christened it Final Curtain - V11/Font 8a

On Carrock Fell in the Lakes Greg Chapman had a sylvan moment on the Kits boulder linking several problems to give a new V10/Font 7c+ poetically called Railblazer
