Edu Marin repeats La Rambla, 9a+

Desnivel.com reports that yesterday (30/11/2006) the Spanish Edu Marin has managed the first repeat (second ascent) of La Rambla, 9a+, in Siurana (Spain).

La Rambla is a 40m route and was first climbed by Ramon julian Puigblanque back in 2003 (8th of March).

Daniel Andrada, Chris Sharma and Dave Graham are actually trying the same route and Mr. Sharma seems to be pretty close.

Effort. WHo is this kid? how old is he? looked in awe at la rambla when we were there. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig.

great effort. Is there some extension to the original La Rambla now, or has it always been the same. Someone was trying it at easter (might have been Edu), and i couldnt really figure out what was what. Whoever it was spent every morning very casually warming up on Bistec and the ELephant trunk 7c+

tightening the double, and plated the meeting. Yes-sir-ee, I know that feeling.. if only I was tightening the double right now, that really would plate the meeting.
