Twenty-five year old Polish woman Aleksandra “Ola” Taistra (Alpinus Ekstrem Team, Evolv) redpointed Die Hard 8c (Grotte Gabbio, Ferentillo in Italy). This is Ola's third route of such difficulty, in 2004 Taistra redpointed Nie Dla Psa Kiebasa (8c, Pochylec, Poland) and Power Play (8c, Pochylec, Poland). She is one of 13 women to have climbed 8c.

    By doing Die Hard Ola become the second Polish lady who climbed 8c route abroad, the first was 20 year old Kinga Ociepka. Taistra was born in 1982. She is a student of Academy of Physical Education. She started to climb in 1999.
