+Stu wants to be a fireman when he grows up, but until then he'll just wear the helmet and climb the Assassin HVS 5a., 114 kb Jerome Stiller, 50, and his friend were climbing on Eldorado Canyon's Redgarden Wall (Colorado, USA) and fell, taking a 100ft whipper and pulling some gear. He suffered a head injury, a fractured bone near his right eye, multiple cuts and a broken right tibia. Stiller attributed his survival to wearing a helmet.

"It saved me. It saved my life," he said.

Stiller said he plans to become an advocate for helmet safety. He said he is even looking to be a spokesman for a helmet company. He said his helmet was new, and worth every penny.
