71 year-old Colin Goodey Establishes New Multi-Pitch Sport Route

© Ray Wood
Sprightly 71 year-old Colin Goodey one of the driving forces behind the new sport routes at the Costa del Dali Sector, at Dali's Hole, has established a new multi-pitch sport route on Llanberis slate. Tomb Raider is a three-pitch bolt route with pitch grades of 6a, 3a, and 6a+ at the Nuremburg Area.

UKClimbing.com forum reader Joe Brown (first ascent of Cenotaph Corner and many other UK classics) who spotted Colin at the bottom of Tomb Raider jokingly quiped: "don't put it up on any websites for a while so it isn't busy when I come back to do it!"

Sorry Joe.
