© pjkp
The Peak District climber Pete Whittaker (16) headpointed Kaluza-Klein E7 6c at Robin Hood's Stride on Sunday, making his ascent just as it was going dark. He practiced the route for only 20 minutes before leading it. This is Pete's fourth E7 this year having headpointed Braille Trail (Burbage South,) Obsession Fatale(The Roaches) and flashed Crack and Slab (Curbar). Pete who did his GSCE's this year also made an ascent of Sad Amongst Friends E6 7a at the Cowper Stone earlier in the year.

Pete has also done a new route at Burbage South called Back Down Under E5/6 6c (see photo) which climbs The Searing and then continues up the rounded left arete and face above.
