Ashworth and Blakemore Early Season Mixed

© Steve Ashworth
Lakeland mixed-master Steve Ashworth and mountain guide Tim Blakemore made an ascent of Sioux Wall (VIII,8, 5 pitches), Ben Nevis, on November 23rd. Likely the third ascent of this route established by Andy Turner and Duncan Hodgson. They took advantage of a high pressure forecast and went to Ben Nevis looking for early season mixed conditions without disappointment.

Well done, conditions looked ideal from the pics. Quite jealous of anybody who got out yesterday. Davie
