Inertia Reel Traverse Flashed

© Robo
On 12th December the Australian climber, Garth Miller flashed Inertia Reel Traverse at the Roaches, according to sources at UKBouldering.com and his scorecard at 8a.nu.

This rounded low-level traverse at the Roaches was first climbed by Jerry Moffat in the late 1980's and is given a bouldering grade of Font 8a+/V12.

This could possibly be the hardest bouldering flash achieved on UK rock and was achieved in what boulderers call 'mint' conditions - that is around 4 degrees celsius.
