On Friday the 29th of May Chris Sharma succeeded on his project at Oliana Spain. The route is now named Pachamama and Chris estimates the grade as hard F9a+.

Commenting on momentumvm.com, Sharma said:

"I'm still a bit confused over the grade. It's definitely harder than Papichulo and all the other F9a+ routes I've done in Spain but I'm not sure if it's F9b... the resistant style of climbing on the route isn't quite the best style for me and I can imagine other people being better suited... For now I'd say it's hard F9a+"

The name, Pachamama, refers to a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes, roughly the equivalent of our Mother Earth.

Sharma had been working on this project, on and off, since the beginning of last winter.

Pete O'Donovan was on hand to photograph the route and gave the following description to UKClimbing.com:

"The route is about 45m long and, after a boulder problem start (which it shares with Papichulo) followed by a full sit-down rest in a convenient little cave, it then climbs continuously overhanging rock by a series of dynamic moves on marginal holds, punctuated by just two poor shake-outs. Piss!"
