Elfyn Jones has been appointed as the British Mountaineering Council's (BMC) Access and Conservation Officer for Wales.
There were twenty-five applicants for the job with six being interviewed last week. It was agreed to establish this important new post in March (previous news) and it will supplement the BMC's two existing Access Officers. Elfyn will take up the post in September.
