Dani Andrada has made yet another first. Emborrachando al hijo is a combination that starts with the 4 first clips of Los borrachos, then continues with a further 6 clips in a new route, 8b+-ish, and then links into the whole of El hijo libre, 8c! So it's like 8c into 8c in the roof with a bad kneebar for a rest!
It took Dani 3 days to do the new route, but he already knew all the parts from before. He even bolted it. The grade is 9a, and there is no real crux, but simply pure endurance roof climbing... around 35 meters of it, with bad rests.
He says he's got two other projects in the same roof at Rodellar, one of which he's really close to bagging....they will both weigh in at around 9a+.
