Greg Chapman's Lakesbloc reports Jordan Buys has made the much coveted first ascent of the "mighty groove project" at the Lad Stones, Tilberthwaite. Jordan cleaned the problem on an ab-rope and then climbed it ground up. He has named it Groove Armada , and offered highball 7c+ as an estimated grade. Although not super hard, I feel the status and the nasty landing really makes it worth reporting. The photo, from Lakesbloc, says a lot.
