A month or so ago, Patxi announced he was going to pass through Gorges du Loup on 10 September and try to finish off PuntX, 9a, a route he has spent a couple of days on before.
Phil Maurel, who has witnessed most of the 8 ascents of this route, says Patxi's was the most impressive so far, and that he made it look like a 7a when he basically walked it effortlessly.
The Euro champs is next week. Patxi has fully recoverd from his shoulder injury. His opponents are hereby warned ;)
