The last 40 years of the Alpine Journal are now available to view online.
The Alpine Club's annual journal is a record of mountain adventure and scientific observation since 1863. The club is in the process of digitising all volumes of the journal. Stage one (1969-2008) has been completed. This comprises over 2,000 articles, including accounts of most of the landmark ascents since 1969.
