Reported on the V12 Website is a new E7 by British climbing legend Johnny Dawes in the huge slate hole of Twll Mawr.

The route named King of the Mezz, climbs leftwards from the belay at the top of the famous Quarryman Groove, to reach the belay of the route Blockhead.

The grade is E7 6c and Johnny climbed the route onsight.

"...I got across and suddenly found myself bridging on poor smears, hanging on an edge and having to dyno. At one point I had to sort of layback on the cheek of my face so I could swap hands on a hold. It was very tricky." commented Johnny in the V12 news item.
