Iker Pou, one of the world's premiere all-rounders, has made the first ascent of Nit de bruixes, 9a+, an old project in the steep l'Ermitage sector at Margalef, Spain.
After falling high on the route twice last winter when holds broke off, he finally succeeded 2 January.
The route is described as an 8c followed by a very difficult three bolt section on shallow pocket, typical Margalef style.
