Magnus Midtbö on Blood redemption, 8C, Matre, Norway

Magnus Midtbö is one of the few climbers who have climbed both 9b and 8C. In this video he makes the first ascent of Blood redemption, 8C, at Gjeddehenget, Matre, Norway.

Only a couple of weeks ago, almost two years after the first, Adam Ondra made the 2nd ascent with a different start and said it felt like 8B+ to him this way.

In today's WC qualifications at Chamonix, Magnus qualified for the semis in joint 1st position.
