More Greenland Big Walls By Boat

British climber and sailor Bob Shepton, who skippered the well documented Belgian/American trip to Greenland a couple of years ago is back in the area again.

'Captain Bob' reports three new routes completed in the Sortehul fjord, by Upernavik, West Greenland, in July, after crossing the Atlantic from Scotland.

On Red Wall: Flight of the Dodo 5.11d 350 metre / Can't be Gull-able 5.10d A1 (gear pulled on over a roof), 300 metres. Landed by dinghy from the boat.

On Impossible Wall: another route to match and to the right of the Belgian/American route of 2010 Improbability Drive E6, 5.12b/c 850 metres, climbed direct from the boat moored alongside on cams.

South African climbers Steve Bradshaw, Clinton Marteningo, Andrew Porter, David Glass from the British boat Dodo's Delight.
