Stefan Glowacz, 47, vice World Champion back in 1993 and winner of the prestigious Aquafil Climbing Ambassador award at Arco this year, has made the first ascent of Golden shower, a 150 meter four pitch route in the Verdon Gorge.
The route was bolted by Stefan and the late Kurt Albert seven years ago but has, for various reasons, not been climbed until now.
The four pitches weigh in at 7a+, 8b+, 8b+ and 7c+.
