Nalle Hukkataival is in Ticino, Switzerland, where he is using the good conditions to full effect and has managed to make the first ascent of Momentum, 8C, in the Valle Bavona.
On his 27crags-ticklist, he describes it as:
"Tall overhang with explosive and powerful moves and very few footholds. One of the most amazing sequences I can think of!
So simple, yet so intricate. A dream come true!
and on facebook he adds that "This boulder is a dream come true for me and one of my biggest achievements."
As Nalle has done more than a lot, this would mean something quite extraordinary.
Meanwhile, in the very same valley, the Valle Bavona, Carlo Traveri also put up a stunning looking problem: Heritage, 8B+, which he says "Might be the single best line that I've ever climbed."
If I'm not mistaken, the Valle Bavona is where Carlo's family comes from originally, hence the name of the problem.
