Here we have the final two video clips from a short series featuring Mina Leslie-Wujastyk.
Mina and David Mason went on an extended bouldering road trip around the USA. They travelled to Joe's Valley, Yosemite, Ibex, Bishop and more.
Mina climbed loads of hard problems, as did David, and we featured Mina's ascents in a few UKC News Items last November and December.
Here's the last two of a set of nicely put together videos from David Mason, mainly featuring Mina, but with a few clips of David too.
If you're thinking of going bouldering in the USA (yes please!) then check out these videos that will be popping up on UKC over the course of the next few weeks.
Here we have Mid November in Yosemite ValleyMina introduces this video:
"Yosemite Valley is stunning, a hub for many climbers, from big wall enthusiasts to keen boulderers a like. The weather is a bit more temperamental here but there are also more creature comforts; easy shower access, a room with a fire to hang out in on wet days, and plenty of free coffee refills! The Valley has many famous classics like Midnight Lightning and Thriller but it also holds many other little gems like the ones in this short."
And we also have Ibex in Utah.
Mina introduces this video:
"We loved Ibex; a crag in the middle of the desert with nothing for forty miles in any direction. To get to it you leave the road and drive across a salt plain which is great fun. There are not loads of problems there but what is there is superb! They are not necessarily awe inspiring lines to look at but the rock is really good quality, the moves are fun and so the climbing is thoroughly enjoyable. We stayed for three days and it was a real highlight of the trip for me. Being out in the middle of nowhere was fantastic, the simple life!"
