Sarah Stirling Leaves UKClimbing and UKHillwalking

© Dawn Jay

Sarah Stirling, the gear editor at UKClimbing and UKHillwalking for the last three years, is leaving the company to return to her freelancing career.

Sarah has been responsible for the gear and industry news across the site, as well as co-ordinating and writing many gear reviews. She has also been an ever-present member of the UKC team at the two huge international trade shows at ISPO and Friedrichshafen and the main person behind the extensive reports we produce after the shows. You can see one of her reports from ISPO this year here and from Outdoor 12 here.

Sarah also contributed some great editorial articles like her collaboration with Mountain Equipment in The Questionable Ethics of Down Production published in January this year, and Mountaineering Mums published in March 2009.

We would like to thank Sarah for her work over the past three years and wish her every success in the future.

If you wish to contact Sarah you can do so via her web site www.sarahstirling.com

Sorry to Hear Sarah is leaving. My g/f always found your reviews extremely useful. In particular, the Synthetic Insulated Jackets and the more recently the Waterproofs. All the best for the future.
