Chris Webb Parsons has made the first ascent of Belly of the beast, ~8C, in the Keen roof at Raven Tor.
A few months ago he repeated Keen roof low start, ~8B+, and now he has crawled a bit deeper into the cave and made an even lower start:
Today I managed to climb the super extension to Keen Roof starting as far back in the cave as possible and blasting straight out through the roof into Keen Roof.
So many days of struggling to put this one together. Dealing with wet holds for the last two weeks has made this one epic to get done. At first I thought it was not going to be as hard but its been epic and I'm in the best shape of my life right now. I have called the line Belly Of The Beast, 8C.
Here is a video from when Chris did Keen roof low start a few months ago.
