After six days of effort and two heart breaking falls from the "easy" slab after the mantle, Chris Webb Parsons has finally managed to repeat Dai Koyamada's Insanity of Grandeur, ~8C, at Chironico, Switzerland.
YES!!! Just finished of Insanity Of Grandeur 8C. After 6 days of work and falling on the slab top out twice (yes twice) today I topped it out with the rain and snow poring down and skin so torn up.
Insanity of Grandeur links the start of Martin Keller's Der mit dem Fels tanzt into Delusion of Grandeur, ~8B, and previously only been done by Koyamada and, recently, by Gabriele Moroni.
