Quite unsurprisingly Adam Ondra has made the coveted first repeat of Chris Sharma's First round, first minute, ~9b, in the Laboratori sector at Margalef.
Chris Sharma made the first ascent of this short, steep, very bouldery route on 19 April 2011 and no one has been able to repeat it since.
Given the effort Chris had to put into it, that's not very surprising, neither is the fact that Adam Ondra was the one who finally succeeded. This doesn't make it any less impressive though, hats off for Ondra!
Hopefully we can get some words from Adam himself soon.
Here is a video showing Sharma working the route.
