Jimmy Webb has made the second ascent of Nalle Hukkataival's The Understanding, ~8C, at Magic Wood, Switzerland.
"Somehow today I managed a one day ascent of literally the BEST boulder I have ever climbed.. The Understanding, 8C in Magic Wood.
This one is just hands down the sickest line ever. It's a massive problem that demands so much of you physically and mentally. Really had to keep it together!!
Cheers to Nalle Hukkataival for establishing this beast!! It's so rare to find blocs as magnificent as this."
Before Nalle made the FA, this was a long standing project so making a one day ascent is of course super impressive! Saying that, the climbing is very complex and it took a lot of time and effort for Nalle to figure out how to climb this thing. Knowing Jimmy, I'm sure he had watched the video obsessively.
