This weekend (the 26th and 27th April) will see the very first round of the eight IFSC Bouldering World Cups that will take place in 2014. This first event will be held in Chongqing, China, the biggest city in the world (population 29 million).
Competing for Great Britain we have Shauna Coxsey and myself (Mina Leslie-Wujastyk). Shauna placed overall 4th in the 2013 World cups and I placed overall 9th. We are both looking forward to trying again this year!
The Qualification rounds will take place on Saturday 26th (Men at 2.45am UK time, Women at 8am UK time) while the Semi-Finals and the Finals are on Sunday (2.30am UK time and 10am UK time respectively).
Tune in to watch the live stream of the Semi-Finals and the Finals on the IFSC website.
