Shauna Coxsey has repeated One Summer in Paradise, 8B, at Magic Wood. This is her third of the grade after Nuthin' but sunshine in Colorado, USA, and Zarzaparilla, in Albarracin, Spain.

After her most successful World Cup season ever, resulting in a second place over all, Shauna Coxsey is now relaxing at Magic Wood/Averstal in the Swiss Alps.

The other day, she managed to repeat One Summer in Paradise, which is an extension to Pura vida, 8A+. Actually, extension is not entirely correct as it adds a couple of meters of climbing to the start rather than the end of the problem.

I tried this boulder problem for a short while when I was here 2 years ago. I am not the best at remembering beta but the moves on this one have stuck with me. I remember seeing this boulder and wanting to climb it and I have done ever since. I feel like I am working my way through the unfinished buisness that I left in Magic Wood. I guess it's time to start trying some new boulders.

The trip two years ago that she is referring to is the one ending abruptly with a broken foot. Fingers crossed she is more lucky this time!

There is no doubt she still has a strong head though as she has also repeated Astronautenfieber, a tall and committing 8A...
