Major New Article Format for UKC for 2015

Starting today with a piece on Alison Hargreaves and her son Tom Ballard, UKC are rolling out a major new article format, using full page photo and text viewing as well as integrated video.

We're really excited about the new format here at UKC, enabling us to deliver more engaging long-form stories that look beautiful, and really make the most of the fantastic imagery we have in the climbing world.

There are several more of these Digital Features lined up on UKC for 2015, the next one starring Nick Bullock and French climber Jeff Mercier - watch this space.

NB: We are aware of some technical issues with this piece - especially crashing on some iPads - but if you have a fault then please do let us know on this forum thread, having hundreds of users testing is better than 3 staff! We're hoping to have all the bugs ironed out in the next week or so, but until then, if the piece isn't working on your set up, consider switching browser, or using a laptop or desktop computer. Thanks!

Hi, Looks interesting, but I can't get past the first page using Google Chrome, and (I think) Windows 8. Thanks, D.
So the first page is loading but you are unable to progress to the next page?

How are you meant to use it? If I scroll down/right it always jumps 2 pages at a time. On Safari. Will all articles be like this or will there be things to read as well?

iPad errors are causing us a bit of trouble, we hope to have them sorted by the end of this week. Cheers
