The Nepal earthquake devastated thousands of lives in April this year and deeply affected the Sherpa community living and working on Everest. This inspirational new film by Matt Sharman features a friend of his, Tim Mosedale - an Everest guide who went to extraordinary lengths to support the families of Sherpas killed in the disaster.
"Tim was at Camp 1 when the earthquake struck back in April this year. Three of Tim’s Sherpa friends, high altitude mountaineers he’d worked with for years, were at Basecamp - they were killed. Tim set himself the task of raising money for the families left behind. He embarked on an epic super-triathlon, and in so doing, draws attention to how much most mountaineers rely on Sherpa support, and in fact how much we all need the help of others to keep going…"
