Here at UKC it's not often we stumble across a gritstone crag in Yorkshire that we've never heard of!

That's exactly what happened with  Ash Head. This small but beautifully rounded grit crag has had a bit of a resurgence lately spearheaded by Dave Sutcliffe.

Dave's climbed a load of great problems there, and even nabbed the first ascent of a stunning looking little E6 6c.

Dave's videos always inspire and once again that route looks good at a place I've never heard about, I like the building behind for some strange reason, a bit like shining cliff in the Peak.
