In Spring 2011, long before the Dawn Wall, Tommy Caldwell, Hayden Kennedy and Corey Rich travelled to Alaska with the aim of establishing a new winter route in the Arrigetch Peaks. The team's efforts created Deep in the Alaskan Bush (5.11+ X, M2) and a film by Corey Rich Productions documented their journey to the first ascent.
